Would you recommend ACC for a complete newbie?

Hi everybody,

I've recentely discovered sim racing thanks to the new Forza Motorsport game. As much as I'm enjoying it tho (especially GT races), I'd really like to move on something that's more simulation oriented

My fear is that jumping from a sim-cade to a full-sim might be too harsh for someone who's just starting to appreciate the genre, so I'd really like to hear your opinions on this

I currently own a used Logitech G29 wheel. Is it fine for online racing in cockpit view?

Also, is the game beginners friendly? Will I find people with my same experience to race with? How much time do I need to understand all the rules / game modes / interface before actually be ready to compete online?
