They are all so awful to Anna

I genuinely do not understand it. No matter what she does or what she says there is SOMEOME in that family ready to say something snarky in response. I just do not understand. At first I really noticed it with Amber and Elizabeth, but now Emma seems to be competing for first place in the Anna put down fest. I grow up being the family whipping post, and my heart aches for that girl. I hope she finds real family one day and learns that, that is NOT how you treat people you love.
