Help choosing between Cambridge and Imperial

So I’ve got an offer for chemical engineering at imperial and Cambridge but the catch is that Cambridge i was pooled for 2026 entry.

My heart has always been set on imperial and always been the goal, but now that I’m here everyone is telling me to go for Cambridge.

What should I do, and any suggestions for gap year (need to be making money or gaining competitive employability advantage)?
