Samurai(fighter)/hexblade warlock build help

I believe my character will probably die next session and the idea I’ve been toying with is a character that would seem to be a multi class of these 2 flavor wise but I was wondering if there was a better build but could accomplish the same flavor goal? We’re lv 8 btw.
