Is PLA Safe for Printing Hydroponic Towers?
I’m planning to 3D print a hydroponics tower, and I want to make sure I use the right material for the job. I know PLA is often marketed as food-safe, but I’m concerned about its long-term durability and safety when exposed to water, nutrients, and sunlight (south of Italy, 365days of sun)
Is PLA a good choice for this application? I saw a few projects here which were made with ABS, if not, which material would you recommend that is food-safe, durable, and UV-resistant?
Thanks in advance!
