Fueling issue
Ok, this is my second 335i, it is an e93 (drop top) with a fueling issue.
The car sat for a minute and ran on what sound and felt like about 3 cylinders when we gave it a new battery. It then sat for another 6 months or so before bringing it back to my house.
It had nearly no gas in it while sitting, and I put about a gallon of fresh 93 when home.
It has new spark plugs and coils, but wouldn’t start. I gave it some carb cleaner and it started right up and ran for about 15 seconds before dying out.
I know not to use starting fluid too many times, but in the few times I did, it has reached the point of starting and dying immediately.
It has a new hpfp, and I can hear the lpfp turning on. I haven’t had time yet to check lines and filter, but I’ve read this could be the dme aka fuse box, aka second ecu. What are some suggestions?
