Lost climbing boots during Death Plateau on ironman. How can I get another set?

I had a full inv so the boots dropped on the floor during the part where Tenzing asks me to put spikes on the boots. I thought I could get another pair but it appears I am stuck since I cant get another set of boots. Is there another way to get climbing boots so I can finish this quest? I think this may be an unfortuate Ironman bug, how can I get this to a Jmod so they can hotfix this?Thanks
