Wet weather strings

I play in the UK and rain is inevitable. Yesterday I played a couple of matches with my usual setup head lynx tour. We were using old balls as we didn't want to wreck new ones in the rain, so a bit of a double up on how heavy the balls are. What do people think of having a lower tension in a spare racket (or even a soft mult - I've used head velocity before and liked it, just felt it was a bit over powered). My main concern here is arm health over performance.

I've also got access to a ball machine now at my new club, so was thinking of a super arm friendly setup for those drills anyway.
